Colby Drasher is a DJ, promoter, event producer, multimedia artist and filmmaker based in Boston, MA.
Most widely know for his role as a DJ he has shared the stage with artists and producers such as Peaches, Le1f, Mykki Blanco, Pictureplane, Brenmar, MikeQ, Ben Aqua, Pansy Division, Venus X, Cakes Da Killa, Saint Pepsi, Poolboy 92 and dozens of other DJ's and artists from across New England. He has had the honor of playing in Boston's most high profile venues including the Institute of Contemporary Art, Royale, Guilt, The Sinclair, Middlesex Lounge, The Good Life, Great Scott, Wonderbar, Jillians and many more.
He graduated from Emerson College in 2007 and has been on the rise since. Working across multiple platforms of entertainment and media, he has also had solo exhibitions of his visual art as well as gained acclaim for his songwriting and guitar playing in the bands Rules and Hats & Glasses.
His projects have always maintained a strict dedication to the motto he has stood by since 2011 "All are welcome who welcome all".
His most infamous endeavor Don't Ask Don't Tell Boston has gained him notoriety across the city by providing a safe and unique space for the queer community to come together and celebrate. Now in its 6th year, this party has been highly acclaimed by local news publications and award shows alike. Including nominations and titles for 'Best Dance Party' and 'Best Gay Night'.
